America's Most Haunted Hotel
Perched atop West Mountain in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the Crescent Hotel & Spa has stood since 1886 — and by most accounts, it has never been empty. Built as a luxury resort for the Victorian elite, the hotel passed through several incarnations before earning its current reputation as one of the most thoroughly documented paranormal locations in the United States.
The building served as a women's college, a junior college, and most infamously as the Baker Hospital — a fraudulent cancer cure operation run by Norman Baker in the 1930s. Patients who died there are believed by many investigators to have never fully left. Today the hotel operates as a full-service resort and actively embraces its haunted history, hosting nightly ghost tours and paranormal investigation events.
